Chinese Hamburger

Here's the recipe for the casserole that I brought on Saturday. I like it because it is easy and tasty.

1 lb ground beef, browned with a chopped onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup warm water
slight 1/2 cup rice
2 T soy sauce
dash of pepper

Mix together and bake at 350 degrees, 30 minutes covered then 30 minutes uncovered. Top with chow mein noodles the last 10 minutes.

If you're so inclined you can also add things like chopped celery, water chesnuts, etc. It's a pretty forgiving recipe. I like to bake it in a smaller pan rather than a larger pan because if it gets spread too thin it cooks too quickly and is dry.
